Most Beautiful Music You Can Hear Today

If there is one artist that continues to have a special place in my heart, it’s got to be HammockThey continue to create the most sublime music you can ever hear.

I know musical tastes are highly subjective so please understand that this my personal opinion. All I can do is to urge you to lend your ears to there beautiful tunes.

I have been a big admirer of there work for a very long time. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Hammocks work, here is a brief introduction.

Hammock – Who are they?

Hammock is a collaboration between Mark Byrd and Andrew Thompson. They are both great musicians who have worked with many artists in the Nashville music scene. They started this collaboration with the intent of escaping the Nashville songwriting circle.

There sound is primarily instrumental with a strong focus on texture, harmony, space. If you’ve ever felt a connection with wide open spaces, lush landscapes, and any other artistic imagery, then I’m quite confident you’d appreciate there work.

The magic in there sound

Lush ambient pads, warm guitar tones, subtle rhythms all come together to create tranquil musical artistry. I’m particularly fond of there stunning guitar work, especially the long reverb tail on those beautiful harmonic and melodic guitar phrasing.

Another aspect that lends to there unique sound is the cello. You often find that they use orchestral elements very effectively to enhance their songs. With a sparse, spacious beginning, a warm melodic element usually on the piano or guitar brings the song to life. Another aspect of there sonic palette that appeals to me is those beautiful volume swells. Combining that with other subtle sonic textures creates a refreshing and wholly satisfying listening experience.

So take your time, sit back, relax and this stunningly beautiful music transport you to ethereal realms.

I would encourage you to share your experience in the comments section below.

Peace, Love, Harmony to you all
